Abdullah KARA, who graduated first in his class from the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Karadeniz Technical University, completed both his master’s and doctoral studies at the same university and served as a research assistant between 1998 and 1999.

Between 1999 and 2007, KARA worked at Güneş Sigorta A.Ş., first at the Black Sea Regional Directorate (1999–2002) and later in various positions within the company’s Head Office (2002–2007). As part of his professional development, he completed the 21st Training Term of the Turkish Insurance Institute Foundation (TSEV) in 2003–2004, ranking third overall and first in the Accounting Department.

In 2008, he took part in the feasibility and establishment process of Dubai Group Sigorta A.Ş., where he assumed the role of Finance and Administrative Affairs Manager. He served as Assistant General Manager at Ankara Anonim Türk Sigorta Şirketi from March 2010 to September 2012, and between 2014 and 2020, he held the position of Assistant General Manager at Türk P&I Sigorta A.Ş., a company whose establishment process he was also involved in.

Contributing to the academic field as well, KARA has been teaching as a visiting lecturer since 2016 at Marmara University’s Faculty of Financial Sciences, Department of Insurance and Actuarial Sciences, as well as the Institute of Banking and Insurance, Department of Insurance.

Abdullah KARA served as the Director of the Insurance Guarantee Fund (Güvence Hesabı) between 2020 and 2024, and from 19 November 2024 to 18 April 2025, he was a member of the Insurance Guarantee Fund Management Committee while serving as the General Manager of Arex Sigorta.

Abdülkadir Küçük, who began his service at our institution on 20 March 2003, was appointed as the Account Manager on 18 March 2004 and continued in this position until 30 September 2020.

Gür, who began serving as the Account Manager at our institution on 1 September 2000, continued in this position until 18 March 2004.

Esentürk, who began serving as the Account Manager at our institution on 9 November 1998, continued in this position until 7 August 2000.

Boztaş began his career at the Insurance Güvence Hesabı (Garanti Fonu) in 1999 as a lawyer and subsequently served as a lawyer, legal officer, and Legal Department Manager. Appointed as the Director of the Insurance Guarantee Fund in January 2023, he retired on 31 August 2023.
